Tourism
Interesting tourist statistics of Pattaya: 1 January – 30 June 2022 There were 3,788,122 visitors who stayed overnight in the province, and a total of 5,898,177 visitors. Of these, 5,742,287 were Thais and 155,890 were foreigners. This represented a growth rate of 1,063.83 % over the same period of last year, contributing income to Pattaya by 35,082 million baht. Tourists made top spendings on accommodations, followed by food and beverages, and souvenirs.

Famous tourist attractions:
Pattaya Beach is a crescent-shaped beach. There is a beach road of approximately 3 kilometers long. It is a shady beach with various plants, making it a perfect spot for relaxation.

Jomtien Beach – Jomtien Beach is a beach resort of Pattaya, which atmosphere quite different from Pattaya Bay. It is situated only six kilometers away.

Wong Prachan Beach: It is in the north of Pattaya Bay, Soi Wong Amat. The beach is about one kilometer long. It is a quiet beach, clear water, suitable for swimming and relaxing.

Krating Lai Bay It is a beach that Pattaya City plans to promote as a new natural attraction by declaring it a tourist distraction-free zone.

Khao Pattaya (Khao Phra Bat): Aside from the beauty of Pattaya beach, there is a small hill on the west side with a viewpoint on top, from where one can see the entire scenery of Pattaya Beach.

Transportation
1. By Air: Pattaya City has an air transport network linking with U-Tapao Airport and Suvarnabhumi Airport. U-Tapao International Airport (Rayong-Pattaya) or U-Tapao Airport: U-Tapao Airport can be accessible by National Highway No. 36 No. 331 and Highway No. 7 (Motorway) Pattaya – Map Ta Phut, with a distance of approximately 45 kilometers from Pattaya City. Suvarnabhumi Airport There are two ways to travel to Suvarnabhumi Airport by using Highway No. 7 (Motorway) or by bus No. 389 from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pattaya City. It is approximately 110 kilometers from Pattaya City.

2. By road: Pattaya City has transportation network connecting to other cities, mainly based on national highways, such as roads linking Bangkok – Chonburi – Pattaya by using National Highway No. 3 and Special Highway No. 7; or the network between Eastern Province By using National Highway No. 3 (Sukhumwit Road), No. 36 and No. 331 etc.

3. Railroad Pattaya: has a rail network connecting with other cities using Chachoengsao – Sattahip railway line, which is a route along the eastern coast.

4. Waterway: Pattaya City has a network of waterways for tourism, trade and transportation. It has a tourist port that can connect Bangkok – Cha-am – Hua Hin and Trat Province. The port for trade and transportation will be linked to East Asian region and Songkhla Deep Sea Port, etc.
